I know Donna may be a leader in the one-stroke world on non-living substrates, but her face painting has not reached the level yet of a pro that I would pay to instruct me. The compositions of each piece did not flow with the model's faces. The line work and details were also poorly executed. The butterfly was, frankly, terrible. I'm sure she's a lovely person, but that's not what I'm paying for here.

Thank you, I believe I'm getting more than I have payed for, every video I am picking up a lot of tips and great knowledge, I'm a beginner and this was great for learning to use my arty cakes correctly. Agree with some of the other comments. These aren't the best set of designs to show off the fabulous things that are possible with one stoke painting.

Donna is a good one stroke teacher and I have being able to adapt many of her techniques to Face Painting, however this wasn't the best video. I agree with some of the other comments-- the designs weren't super , and there was an awful lot of plugging for her own products, website, blog, books, etc. I don't mind hearing about those products, but it was a bit over the top.

It was helpful, though, to see how Donna handled the brush in making her one-stroke leaves and flowers. I also like how she used the script-liner, and will try it myself for outlining. I saw Donna on a PBS fundraiser teaching her one stroke and she was real good but she's so out of her element here.

Has she ever seen a pros butterfly because I would be embarrassed to do that one for pay. I do applaud her for giving it a try.
