Normal eyeliners are the full length of the pencil, this is just the tip. I saw a girl talk about this on a tiktok and how she uses it if by applying a little of the white one places where she'll apply her highlighter and it looks good in the video, tired it in person and it was EH also these things are too creamy they slip and slide move all day.
I bought "cupcake" pink , "donut" violet , and "yogurt" rose gold. Used once, attempted to sharpen, and wasted all product - which is a joke to start with! This is by far a waste of money. I won't be buying again. I don't recommend. Very vibrant color.
Glides on super smooth and nice. I purchased the blue pencil. It does last long just don't touch it because it will smear or wipe of as it doesn't dry. I will purchase again if On Sale. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I read reviews, but still didn't realize a normal size sharpener won't work which is a pain.
Real issue is the color is super glittery and doesn't cover well, uneven skin tone under brows is actually visible. Really useless for the purpose of a neutral eye shadow or primer. I used this product as an eyeliner and it didn't even last 4 hrs and when it was there, it would transfer to the top of my eyelid under the eyebrow. It smeared all over while applying and I had to clean it up with a q-tip. Maybe it was the people that used this more of an eye shadow? Even then I cant see that it would be good as it doesn't set and smears all over.
Others have said though that you cannot get more product With that said, I even tried sharpening it down so I would have "new" product. Still did not last very long! I'm obsessed! I'll pack a shimmery shade over it and UGH perfection! I like these, they work really well and it's long lasting however I was disappointed when I found out it doesn't push up more product. What you see is what you get and that definitely isn't advertised anywhere.
Fat pencil does not wind up like you expect. You expect the applicator to behave like a tube of lipstick. But no, not so. I have 3 colors of them, but I probably like the rust color the best- it's hard to find red eye liner that isn't day glo or makes my eyes look like they're bleeding. The color goes on really well- normally with eye pencils I have to go over the line a few times to get the color dark enough, but I don't have to do that with these.
I can get the same thickness of line as other pencils as well as long as I'm careful. They do need to be sharpened with a sharpener, they're not a roll up pencil even though they look like they might be I don't think any of nyx pencils are roll up?
