Thanks for visiting this site. My research and teaching are in the area of Canadian politics, with a particular focus on municipal democracy and representation, municipal elections, and Canadian political development. My CV is here. I am currently working on three main research projects. First, I am principal investigator for the Canadian Municipal Barometer , an annual survey of mayors and councillors in more than municipalities across Canada. Our goal is to provide high-quality data, analysis, and academic research on municipal public policy, intergovernmental relations, and municipal democracy in Canada.
My second project, Cities in Canadian Political Development, explores the role and representation of cities in Canadian federal political institutions and public policy from present.
