As far as I can tell all cousins play the same as the prince as far as speed and maneuverability, the only difference is in the way they look. After collecting cousins in a level if you replay the level they will be back again and you will be able to collect them again. But it doesn't do you any good after you have already gotten them once. In each level there are also several presents hidden around.

They will look like boxes with a ribbon tied around them and some sort of wrapping. They are not normally in the path that you would take to beat a level, but not normally super hidden. In some levels they may be underneath something like a bridge you need to be a certain size to get, but in others they may just be up on a ledge that is slightly out of the way, but not difficult to get to.

After obtaining presents in a level as long as you finish and beat the level, just like when getting cousins, you will receive the present to wear. In the Princedom you can go to the big cake in the main area and select 3 presents you have collected to wear around on the Prince or one of his many cousins. None of these have any effect on you, but some of them look pretty awesome. The demo sticks the player in a level with a 1m Katamari. When you get to 30cm, you'll be able to leave the Shop. There are two outside areas, the Picnic Area and the Po nd. The Picnic Area is directly outside the Candy Shop, and the Po nd area is up the ramp - there's a couple of food vendors up here.

There's another shop out here that you can enter, which is the Burger Shop. Your primary target is drinks, and fortunately, they come in all shapes and sizes, from small milk cartons to canned drinks and bigger.

You want to start off by getting some size first, by any means necessary. When you get to 30cm, you'll be told that you can leave the Shop, but before you do, do a sweep of both rooms again to get some more size. On the floor will be a number of bottled drinks you'll be able to grab. When you head outside, turn right and go straight over to the Burger Shop. Go through either door and then go about picking up everything you can on the floor. Then use the broomstick to get up to the grilling area, and clear that bit.

Roll over all of the counters, and you should have picked up the majority of the Burger Shop items. Then head out of the front door, and aim to get to 50cm within minutes. Start by trying to cover as much ground as possible, avoiding hitting things that are bigger than you.

Request x 3 Complete 3 Requests. You'll start in the Mansion in this level, and there are two rooms - the back room with the roulette wheel , and the front room.

Leaving the Mansion will take you to the Garden. Expensive items are anything that are deemed luxurious diamond rings, handbags or have monetary value gold bars, money and even cocktails. Fortunately, in this level, your starting position isn't really detrimental to you, but if you can start near the roulette wheel, you'll be in a better position to build some size very quickly in the form of sugar cubes and caramels.

Casino chips don't count as expensive items. The idea is to try and find some caramels or sugar cubes while the King is talking, as a stack of these will get you up to 6cm very quickly. Then get onto the back of the sofa, and collect all of the rings up here, go up onto the shelves as well to find some more rings and expensive items. You'll find that you'll be able to get a fair amount of size very easily. Stay in the back room, and sweep it a couple of items to collect as many items as you can.

The idea is that you don't come back into this room again, as if you get too big, you'll miss out on a lot of expensive items. Once you're around 30cm, go into the front room and sweep the floor a couple of times, but do not leave here, even when you're told you're able to.

Look to the wall that is all books. Here is a secret area with a large number of gold bars and a couple of diamonds. Collect all of these, both for size and for target items.

There is a hat tree next to one of the doors, knock it to collect all of the handbags. You'll now want to head outside and collect everything you can. Keep an eye on making sure that expensive items are number one in your collected items from the start menu. Because if it's not, you run the risk of missing out on the points, even if you get to 1m 35cm.

It wasn't too hard to get to 1m within 4 minutes. And by that point, getting the extra size for points won't be too difficult.
