I liked the way the episode could function as either a series or a season finale. If this was, in fact, the series finale, it went out perfectly even with the Lady Gaga!
To me, it is one of the best family oriented programs that portrays family life; and i have always had a crush on Sally Field since i first saw her as The Flying Nun! You rock, Mrs. I do agree with Ron, I loved the show, from day one. And I do hope it comes back.
My friends and I always discuss the show on our breaks, and share the show with my family members. I wish I could of had a family like this. I love the cast, and all the shows that were made, I also love Sally Flied. Bring the show back. Sadly, ABC has decided to cancel the show. As it is all kinds of people and situations are introduced towards the very end making the final episodes too chaotic even for Walker standards. Just briefly, all the familiar faces together one more time. But apart from what I wanted to see I must admit that season 5 shows a clear break, finally, with William Walker.
Apart from the money he left them of course, all ties seem to be broken. His business gone, Nora with a real new love, one of his children not his child after all, his mistress and son Ryan out of the way…. Pity about all the new developments towards the very end.
